Louisiana Family Forum (LFF) released its 2024 Legislative Scorecard earlier this year, a tool to assess the record of lawmakers on key votes during the 2024 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature.
“LFF evaluated votes on religious liberty, protecting children from sexual politics and from targeted internet ads, election integrity, and school choice. LFF evaluated a variety of life-related issues such as the criminalization of abortion fraud, the designation of abortion drugs as dangerous substances and also the unethical practices of the fertility industry including destruction of human embryos,” said Gene Mills, President of LFF. “This Scorecard serves as a picture of divisions which existed in the House and the Senate on important faith and family issues.”
LIFE & LIBERTY AWARDS
These thirteen (13) legislators are receiving a 2024 Life and Liberty Award for authoring key legislation that LFF merits as upholding Freedom and protecting Life and Liberty in Louisiana.
OUTSTANDING FAMILY ADVOCATES
Thirty-one (31) lawmakers earned the Outstanding Family Advocate Award by scoring 100 percent on LFF’s Scorecard. These legislators will receive our esteemed Patrick Henry Award.
FAMILY ADVOCATES
These awards are a highlight of our year – and although things may look a little different, we look forward to giving our network of pastors, churches, and families an opportunity to honor Louisiana lawmakers and inspire them as they write the next chapter of Louisiana history.
Fifty-six (56) legislators will be honored with the Family Advocate Award for scoring 80 to 99 percent.
